LOLS.
Woke up early. 6am I think to get prepared and have breakfast before going to school. They have a school bus service where a bus comes to pick students up from a certain point and bring them to school. & The school bus doesnt wait, so if you miss it… :P & to ensure that I managed to get to school & that I dont sabotage Navkaran to NOT be able to go to school, I was like, MUST WAKE UP EARLY AND NOT LAZE AROUND IN BED. LOLS. & of course I didnt miss any of my bus trips. :)
The bus rides are like at most an hour long & you pass by lots of uncanny sights you dont witness in Singapore… such as a whole street of MARBLE factories or distribution outlets & cows circling a rubbish dump chewing on GOD KNOWS WHAT! & of course you get to hear incessant honkings from every mode of transportation, which is really, deafening but one definitely gets used to it just after being in India for a day. :)
Upon arrival at school, if Im not wrong we toured the school premises, skipping the visit of the Vice Principal, Mrs Bindu Sehgal & Mr Vinay Kumar as well as catching a short clip of the School (but of course we managed to do it later!). Zomg la. The school campus is like enormous can? Big enough to house like preschool, primary school, secondary school & junior college, which is like WOW! But the staff there dont know each other. Like the presch teachers wouldnt know the prischool and etc. :) & its like they have their own mini-hospital facility, which is waaaay better than our sick bay, which is nothing but a bed. :) Oh and its really green in their school, LOVELY flowers & shrubs. The gardens are like WOW, never seen before in India sort of thang :) Their classrooms are like, almost the same size as ours, just that they have lesser people in a class & their tables and chairs are wooden, and they use a chalkboard, which is way better to draw diagrams, says Mr Tai and Mdm Marina can shade all her sectors in well, a wide array of colours for Math. (: & its inexpensive! But old school….
After which we had Dhandya (spelling someone?) with Mrs Bharti Dasgupta, which was really funny & fun at the same time. Cause I couldnt get the frigging steppings right & its like, the dance itself is really cool. & different from what one expects Indian dance would turn out! & I guess my partner really got choleric and annoyed by the fact that I couldnt get the horse steppings right and I did twenty eight times of the stick hitting, when it was only supposed to be 8?!
Had lesson observation where the teacher droned on Math, some cartesian sets is it? And some ordered pair shizz, which appeared to be QUITE easy. Haha & I randomly snapped a few shots of her in her candid poses, without her knowledge of course :) Haha, then we had English, which encompasses Literature also, and the teacher just blabbers off the answers, which Im really amazed cause she answers the question that she poses herself. =,=
After school we headed down to Dilli Haat, a handicraft bazaar which has seriously OVERPRICED goods. Its like ironical cause its all the same place, and they could be selling the SAME things, but just at different stalls. & the cheapest shop sold a box for like 100 rupees (is it?) whilst the shops sold them at 350, though I managed to haggle until 250, but I rejected, CLAIMING that i disliked the colour, when I myself didnt want it. -.- the girls bought quite a fair bit of things, whilst I just didnt get anything. Wait. EVERYONE got smth but ME =,= Lols. Sorry >_>
After that we went to Pizza Hut to celebrate Mitaali’s Birthday! Woots! We had like Double Cheese pizza, Hawaiian, Chicken Something! & something else. HAHA. Had lots of fun there I guess. & its the first time I drank PEPSI in India. According to Weiqin, its bitter, but I still find it akin to Singapore’s one. LOLS I think my tastebuds = screwed big time! :)
Ciao. :)
